Mediation

Mediation

Mediation is a process that assists people to reach agreements about their disputes without the stress and expense of ongoing legal battles.

Family Dispute Resolution (“FDR”) or Family Mediation is a specialist form of mediation used in Family Law Disputes involving children, property settlements, divorce and/or child support.

Mediation allows people to retain control over the resolution process so that they can reach agreements and move forward.

The role of the mediator is not to pass judgement or give advice. A mediator will assist the parties to identify the issues needing to be resolved and help them to reach solutions that work for them and their families.
